This project includes the renovation of a number of overnight cabins, as well as the renovation of Bald Rock Lodge. The cabins were completely gutted and renovated. Each cabin’s roof was also completely replaced. This renovation provides the park with attractive facilities to rent to the public. It is an ideal place to “retreat” for a vacation.

Furthermore, the project called for a renovation of Bald Rock Lodge. As the lodge was in need of major repairs, the ultimate goal of this project was to create a suitable conference area for interested groups, to conduct their business, away from everyday life. The lodge houses a dining facility, a catering kitchen, a meeting area, and housing for approximately fifty people. The setting provided by this area, Mt. Cheaha, is a spectacular area, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
